National Youth Baseball Championship 2013:
This year,
Super Series will be allowed two berths in the 12U National
Youth Baseball Championships in Memphis. The event
will also be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.
There
will be two Super Series qualifiers for this prestigious
event. The first will be held at
Bartholomew Sports Complex
in
Elk Grove
(Sacramento) California, June 8-9.
The champion of this event will be awarded a berth in the
NYBC. This 12U event is open to 12U Super Series teams
in any state.

The
other NYBC berth will be awarded to our 12U National
Champion. The
12U Super
Series National Championships
will be
held at
Old
Settlers Park in Round Rock, Texas July 20-27.
This
event is also open to Super Series teams from any state.
2013 NEW (Yo-Yo) RULE:
The
Official Rules of Baseball, (rule
8.05C)
for 2013 now prohibits pitchers faking a throw to 3rd base
and then turning to 1st base with a pick-off throw or fake
throw. Effective April 1st, 2013 this will be a BALK.
In Super Series, this move will also be considered a balk.
(This is a new rule which is not included in the 2013 Super
Series printed rules.)

2013 Super
Series team insurance will cover your team in practices and
games including in other organization's tournaments.

The Super
Series events throughout the nation continues to grow! You can expect to find
new events added almost every week.

2013 CLASSIFICATIONS:
New this
year, team classifications will be automatically reviewed
every 2 to 3 weeks based on tournament results. The
more games you play, the more accurate your final team
classification will be. Team statistics will be
monitored continuously and team classifications could likely
move up and down depending on your success throughout
the season.

HOUSTON BANDITOS
WIN IT AGAIN AT NYBC!
The
Houston
Banditos Black
(Super Series) became the first back-to-back National Youth
Baseball Champions. The Banditos exploded for 5 runs in
the top of the 1st inning, before capturing the title by a final
score of
8-6
over
Team Phenom (USSSA).
To make the evening more special, it was in front of national
television audience broadcast live on CBS Sports Network.
Super
Series' National Championship teams have now captured 3 of the 5
annual National Youth Baseball Championships.
